We are seeking two optometrists to practice to the full scope of their licenses on the beautiful island of Martha’s Vineyard. We’re offering an exceptional opportunity for two qualified candidates to join our friendly, patient-centered team.
*Position details:*
* Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM schedule

*Responsibilities*
* Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess vision and detect eye diseases.
* Diagnose and treat visual disorders, including prescribing corrective lenses.
* Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient visits.
* Educate patients on eye health, vision correction options, and preventive care.
* Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals as needed.
* Stay updated on advancements in optometry practices and technologies.
* Ensure compliance with aseptic techniques and medical protocols during procedures.
* Provide excellent customer service to enhance patient satisfaction.
*Requirements*
* Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
* Valid state optometry license to practice.
* Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
* Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and staff professionally.
