Position Summary
*\*\*\*$7,500 SIGN-ON BONUS FOR QUALIFIED APPLICANTS\*\*\**
We are seeking a motivated and clinically strong *Paramedic* to join our Interfacility Transport (IFT) team. This role focuses on the safe, professional transport of patients between medical facilities, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, specialty centers, and outpatient locations.
The ideal candidate values patient advocacy, clear communication, and consistent clinical performance in a lower-acuity but high-responsibility environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide advanced life support (ALS) patient care during interfacility transports
* Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and manage patient conditions throughout transport
* Administer medications and perform interventions within scope of practice and medical direction
* Accurately complete electronic patient care reports (ePCRs) and required documentation
* Communicate effectively with sending and receiving facilities, dispatch, and clinical staff
* Safely operate or assist with operation of ambulance equipment and vehicles
* Ensure compliance with company policies, state regulations, and clinical protocols
* Maintain readiness of equipment, medications, and ambulance cleanliness
* Provide professional, compassionate care to patients and families
Preferred Qualifications
* Prior IFT or EMS transport experience
* Experience with ePCR systems
* Strong clinical judgment and calm decision-making skills
* Professional demeanor and patient-centered mindset
Physical Requirements
* Ability to lift and move patients with assistance (up to 125 lbs with equipment)
* Ability to sit, stand, bend, and work in confined spaces for extended periods
* Ability to work in variable weather and environmental conditions

*Minimum Required Qualifications:*
* Current *Paramedic* certification (National Registry preferred or required based on state)
* Current state Paramedic license or ability to obtain
* Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
* Current *BLS*, *ACLS* (PALS preferred)
* Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and physical agility requirements
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Pay: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour
