Store Manager, Amazon Fresh Stores
A leading role in the Amazon Fresh grocery retail team, responsible for end‑to‑end store operations, hiring and developing leaders, and driving performance metrics. You will lead a team of Assistant Managers and engaged associates to deliver an exceptional customer experience in a fast‑paced, grocery environment.
Description
You will be accountable for the overall performance of the store, monitoring sales, labor, customer satisfaction, safety, and productivity. Your responsibilities include setting goals, providing feedback, managing performance, and developing the team's skills. You will also contribute to scalable processes and foster a culture of customer obsession, trust, respect, continuous learning, safety, and fun.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Manage a team of assistant managers: set goals, relay expectations, provide feedback, and support career development.
- Delegate and influence to drive exceptional results, including executing SOPs, identifying improvement areas, and implementing solutions.
- Analyze data and guide the team to adjust as needed, use business metrics to measure and drive performance, and convey results in regular reviews.
- Create and maintain a culture of engagement by listening to leaders, associates, and customers; analyzing inputs; and independently implementing solutions.
- Create and maintain a safe, clean, and secure environment to ensure the security of employees, customers, and products.
- Work in a physical environment, lifting up to 49 pounds and being on your feet for a shift.
- Work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of people‑management experience.
- 4+ years of leadership experience in a customer‑facing retail, hospitality, or grocery environment (including 1+ year directing store operations, or 2+ years of Amazon experience).
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or 8+ years of customer‑facing retail, hospitality, or grocery industry experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years of customer‑facing grocery industry experience.
- Current Assistant Manager within Amazon Fresh Stores.
- 1+ years directing store operations as a Store Leader.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working independently in an ambiguous environment with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and implement effective solutions.
- Demonstrated success in problem solving and delivering results.
- Demonstrated ability to attract, hire, and develop high‑performing teams.

Compensation
Base pay ranges from $80,300 per year in the lowest geographic market to $164,900 per year in the highest. Pay is based on market location and may vary with job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Total compensation may include equity, sign‑on payments, and additional benefits.
