Compensation:

- Guaranteed Salary of $200,000 or 30% of collections -- Whichever is GREATER.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

Responsibilities:

* Provide dental care with a focus on the health needs of the patients.
* Maintain up to date patient electronic records.
* Provide patient education in proper oral health, treatments and competent care.
* Conduct examinations of teeth and surrounding tissue utilizing diagnostic tools, including medical and dental histories, and dental radiographs.
* Collaborates with EDP medical and other staff for consultation and/or referral of patients and clients within and outside the clinics.
* Supervises taking of x-rays and monitors quality/procedure for x-rays and other equipment operation and procedures by assistants and recommends improvements when needed.
* Dentist shall have collaborative agreement with Dental Therapists.
* Practices in accord with OSHA guidelines and standards and complies with HIPAA regulations regarding confidentiality of patient information.
* Maintains all required certification and licensing.
* Holds informed consent discussion with patient, and assures appropriate forms are signed prior to treatment.
* Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members.
* Must be able to do impacted wisdom teeth extractions and molar root canal therapy.
* Reviews medical history at every visit.
* Examines and assesses patient. Charts all pathologic conditions and reports these to the patient.
* Holds informed consent discussion with patient, documents same in the record, and assures appropriate forms are signed prior to initiating treatment.
* Prescribes medicine for patients as needed.
* Documents all treatment provided in accordance with EDP policy and procedures and signs the patient record.
* Able to move quickly and efficiently.
