What you’ll do:

Position Overview:

The Strategic Account Manager will lead strategic sales efforts to align Eaton sales resources and product lines to support Amazon business units directly. This involves working with the global procurement team, construction, engineering, and facility maintenance to develop and execute sales growth plans for Eaton's Critical Power and Distributed IT solutions across key Amazon accounts such as Net IG (AWS) and Columbia Tech (Amazon Robotics). The role focuses on driving market share gains, ensuring customer satisfaction, and delivering a strong ROI for sales and marketing investment strategies.

  • Support sales of electrical sector products and services to meet revenue and margin objectives with assigned partners.
  • Identify and develop areas for growth across all Eaton divisions with assigned accounts.
  • Serve as the executive liaison between Eaton and assigned accounts at all organizational levels.
  • Provide coaching and engagement with leadership to develop and implement sales plans, manage conflict, and drive change.
  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned accounts and North American Sales (NAS) to coordinate and resolve issues.
  • Take ownership of driving change to improve processes and effectiveness that eliminate roadblocks to sales growth.
  • Drive improvement of managing spend, training, use of Eaton tools and programs to optimize ROI.
  • Serve in a lead role in executive presentations and report‑outs for both Eaton and assigned accounts.
  • Transform the voice of customer into value propositions and leading sales/marketing tools.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum seven (7) years of electrical industry sales and/or marketing experience.
  • No relocation is offered for this position. Active‑Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong computer skills with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and the Internet.
  • Experience aligning strategy with key stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of sales techniques, customer relations, and employee development.
  • Knowledge of products, product applications, and distribution channels.

The compensation range for this full‑time position includes base pay and target sales performance incentive. The target total compensation range is $167,250 - $245,300. Base salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
