The Smilist is seeking a skilled and compassionate Part-Time Endodontist to join our team in Massapequa Park. *Key Responsibilities*

* *Clinical Excellence:* Perform a full range of endodontic procedures, including root canal therapy, endodontic retreatment, and surgical interventions as required.
* *Collaborative Care:* Partner closely with General Dentists and other clinical leadership to develop comprehensive treatment plans and ensure seamless patient transitions.
* *Documentation:* Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation and patient records within our practice management system.
* *Patient Experience:* Educate patients on their endodontic health and treatment options, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed throughout their care journey.
* *Operational Compliance:* Adhere to all organizational hiring policies, credentialing requirements, and healthcare laws to maintain the highest standards of practice.

*Requirements*

* *Education:* DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
* *Specialization:* Completion of a formal Endodontic specialty residency program.
* *Licensure:* An active and unrestricted New York State dental license.
* *Skills:* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with both patients and referring general dentists.
