AMAZON MEDIA SPECIALIST (ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, NJ)
Our client, an in-house advertising agency with offices in Englewood Cliffs, NJ, is looking to add to staff an experienced Amazon Media Specialist starting ASAP. This role is hybrid, with 4 days on-site, and will support the Retail Media team by managing Amazon Search (Sponsored Ads) and Display (DSP) campaigns that drive sales and business growth across Amazon. Daily operations for this role include hands-on-keyboard campaign execution, optimization, daily budget pacing and bidding, using Amazon’s platform and third-party tools (i.e., Skai, Amazon Marketing Cloud, etc.). As this role is highly integrated with Channel Marketing, Sales, and other key stakeholders within the organization, this individual will have visibility into the larger Amazon ecosystem and play a critical role in amplifying success and results for the overall retail business.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Effectively manage on-site Amazon paid media activity (Sponsored Ads, DSP) to meet business objectives and goals with a focus on Amazon DSP
- Participate in Amazon media strategy and tactical planning, assisting the team in media proposals
- Build and execute Sponsored Ads and DSP campaigns, inclusive of end-to-end campaign setup, keyword mining, category/competitor research, audience strategy and development, etc.
- Manage pacing and monthly budgets, allocation strategy across ad formats and tactics, bidding and related settings, spend reconciliation and other related financial upkeep
- Analyze performance for optimizations and prepare report share-outs, identifying actionable insights and opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Channel Marketing, Creative, and Sales to ensure holistic planning and execution
- Identify and implement testing opportunities to drive performance improvements and contribute to broader strategic initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or Communications highly preferred
- 3+ years in a strategy or analytics-focused role with experience implementing and managing media campaigns
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on management of Amazon Advertising campaigns
- Deep understanding of digital media campaign management and optimization best practices with an emphasis on Amazon Search and DPS
- Strong analytical and technical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to develop data-driven insights
- Highly organized, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment without sacrificing accuracy
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage competing priorities
- Self-motivated with a passion for learning new tools and technologies
- Familiarity with Amazon Retail Marketplace (Vendor Central) environment is a plus
