About the role
The essence Amazon Account Associate will play a critical role in managing, optimizing, and growing one of cosnova’s largest and most strategic accounts. This individual will own key aspects of the Amazon business including catalog management, content optimization, promotional execution, reporting, inventory monitoring, and performance analysis. This cross-functional, full-funnel role combines marketing and sales responsibilities to connect brand strategy with commercial execution.
Working closely with Marketing, Creative, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and external partners, the Amazon Account Associate will identify growth opportunities, execute business-driving initiatives, and provide data-driven recommendations that help achieve sales and profitability objectives. The ideal candidate is analytical, highly organized, proactive, and eager to take ownership of projects in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
Position Summary Amazon Account Management
- Support management of the Amazon business to achieve sales, profitability, and growth objectives
- Analyze daily sales and performance trends across the account, proactively identifying areas of concern and opportunities to accelerate results.
- Monitor account health and proactively identify risks and opportunities
- Manage operational issues, support tickets, and inventory reconciliations
- Partner with Supply Chain and Operations teams to maintain inventory availability and forecast accuracy
- Stay current on Amazon platform changes, policies, and new programs
Content Management & Catalog Optimization
- Own product listing creation, maintenance, and optimization
- Manage A+ Content, Brand Store updates, imagery, and backend catalog attributes
- Conduct ongoing content audits and implement optimization opportunities
- Improve discoverability through keyword research and SEO best practices
- Monitor competitor content and recommend enhancements to improve conversion
Promotional Planning & Growth Initiatives
- Support development and execution of promotional calendars and Amazon events
- Execute deals, coupons, bundles, and other marketplace programs
- Identify opportunities to expand assortment, increase visibility, and drive incremental sales
- Lead product launches and go-to-market initiatives
- Evaluate and recommend participation in new Amazon programs
Reporting & Business Analysis
- Analyze sales, traffic, conversion, inventory, profitability, and promotional performance
- Develop recurring business reports, dashboards, and performance summaries
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities and provide actionable recommendations
- Conduct competitive and category analyses to support business planning
- Support forecasting, budgeting, and annual planning activities
Advertising & Marketplace Support
- Partner with internal teams and external agencies to monitor advertising performance
- Analyze advertising metrics and identify optimization opportunities
- Support measurement of media effectiveness and return on investment
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2–4 years of Amazon account management or eCommerce experience
- Experience with Amazon Seller Central and/or Vendor Central
- Strong understanding of Amazon catalog management, SEO, promotions, inventory, and marketplace operations
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities
- Experience developing reports and translating data into actionable business recommendations
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and external agencies
- Experience with fast moving consumer goods, beauty, cosmetics, or consumer products preferred.
