*SENIOR HELPERS* serves the *SALEM *and outer areas of *DALLAS, AUMSVILLE, TURNER, ALBANY, CORVALLIS, SWEET HOME, *and *WOODBURN!*

As *SENIOR HELPERS*, we want our caregivers to succeed and build meaningful relationships with clients in their homes for as long as possible. The *SENIOR HELPERS* dedicated care team is available 24/7 to assist our caregivers with questions and provide any needed support.

*ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:*

* 6 mos previous experience _*(preferred, not required)*_- In-Home or Facility Care
* Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect
* Ability to read, write, and speak English at an average adult level
* *Ability to drive to get to wor*k
* *Valid driver's license with no serious driving violations and current auto insurance*
* Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations.
* Pass a criminal background check prior to employment with Senior Helpers.

*PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:*

* Companionship and conversation
* Light housekeeping
* Household management
* Walking assistance
* Eating assistance
* Errands
* Transportation using client's vehicle or your vehicle
* Meal planning and preparation
* Laundry and linen changing
* Bathing assistance
* Dressing assistance
* Toileting
* Medication reminders
* Monitor Alzheimer's & Dementia clients
* Assist client to and from bed
* Assist client throughout the day/ night
