Scientist I/II, In Vivo Pharmacology

EnquBio, a dynamic technology-driven discovery and service company, is actively searching for a highly capable and self-motivated Scientist to join our rapidly growing team in San Diego. As a key member of the In Vivo Pharmacology team, you will play a critical role in advancing our scientific initiatives and contributing to the success of our drug discovery projects.
Responsibilities
Design, plan, conduct, document, analyze, and interpret a variety of in vivo studies supporting various projects. Develop and characterize in vivo murine models for programs such as oncology (IO) and neuroscience. Execute in vivo pharmacology and cell-based assays, demonstrating high proficiency in assay development and troubleshooting. Interpret data accurately, communicate results effectively, and generate comprehensive reports. Utilize literature and external resources to support internal studies. Implement novel technologies to enhance organizational value. Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and SOPs. Engage with customers, troubleshoot assay issues, and propose solutions. Operate laboratory instruments such as semi-automated liquid dispensers and plate readers proficiently. Perform support functions as needed. Qualifications
Ph.D./M.D. candidate, or M.S. candidate with 3+ years of experience in biology, pharmacology, neuroscience, or related fields; industrial experience is a plus. Experience in animal handling, drug administration (i.v., i.p., s.c.), blood sampling, IVIS imaging, necropsy, and tissue processing. Deep understanding of molecular and cell biology, with mammalian cell culture experience. Knowledge of study protocols in compliance with IACUC guidelines. Initiative in experiment design, troubleshooting, and data analysis. Excellent organizational and documentation skills. Experience with humanized, xenograft, CDX, PDX, and GEMMs models. Skills in small rodent surgery, PK/PD, immune cell prep, and ex vivo assays like flow cytometry, IHC, ELISA, MSD are advantageous. Ability to work collaboratively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis software.
