Job Summary
The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for all aspects of shipping and receiving, including inspection, documentation, and packaging of materials. This role ensures all outbound orders are verified, certified, and shipped in compliance with export regulations. The Warehouse Assistant also manages inbound receipts, resolves documentation issues, and supports logistical coordination for domestic and international freight.

Duties/Responsibilities · Process and fulfill orders for a global customer base, including product traceability verification, inspection, and outbound certification. · Prepare shipping documents such as commercial invoices and export declarations, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations. · Package outbound shipments according to commercial best practices to ensure safe, damage-free delivery. · Receive incoming goods from suppliers, verify product and documentation accuracy against purchase orders, and document acceptance in the system, including scanned quality records and photographs. · Report and coordinate the resolution of non-conformities in product or documentation with the relevant internal staff, suppliers, or customers. · Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks as required. · Arrange and route outbound freight, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery. Monitor carrier performance, tariffs, and recommend the most efficient shipping options. · Other duties as assigned. Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities · Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) · Strong organizational and communication skills · Ability to follow procedures and maintain accurate documentation · Capable of identifying and resolving documentation or quality issues · Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds · Forklift certification is considered an asset · Core competencies include: Flexibility, Judgment, Reliability, Teamwork, Adaptability, Communication, Organization, Physical Ability
Education and Experience · Minimum 1 to 2 years of related experience in warehouse or logistics operations High school diploma or equivalent · Or a commensurate amount of education and experience
Work Environment This position operates in a warehouse setting with exposure to machinery, equipment, and varying weather conditions. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required.
