Key Tasks and Responsibilities Collaborate with the previous shift at the start of your shift to gain a comprehensive understanding of current production needs (ex. Rolling up materials, QC Samples, etc.) Provide all necessary coating operation tools (blades, filters, buckets, etc.) as needed. Monitor inventory levels of all coating batches, PET, MEK (dilution shed), and other materials, ensuring their availability. Strictly adhere to all quality procedures when requesting and providing materials to and from mixing, coating areas, and quality control (QC) representatives Efficiently transport finished rolls from lacquer machines to the metalizing area and completed rolls to the storage warehouse. Deliver coating operation tools (blades, filters, buckets, etc.) to operators as required. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all coating inventory, including tracking needs and providing location information when required. Organize stock efficiently using forklifts, pallets, and cranes. Safely remove empty containers from the coating area to the designated disposal location, following all safety guidelines. Perform daily tasks related to operating the parts washer, ensuring machine parts, containers, and other tools are cleaned, dried, and ready for use. (Respirator is Required) Prepare adequate dilution quantities, record inventory, and maintain a clean and organized dilution shed. Maintain a clean and organized work environment by ensuring the breezeway is free of debris. Regularly verify, collect, and move recyclable materials (pallets, plastic cups, wooden ends, and metal clips) to designated areas. Perform other duties as assigned. Meet the physical demands of the role, including static pull strength of 84 lbs., push 60 lbs., lift 50 lbs. Mount/dismount a sit-down forklift. Technical skills:
Possess basic computer skills to operate production related software and maintain digital records. Forklift knowledge (sit-down) Continuous improvement:
Maintain a process optimization Experience and Education High School Diploma or GED. 1-2 years (Material Handling) Forklift experience Manufacturing Experience preferred. (sit down forklift) Familiarity with SAP/Microsoft Office is a plus.
