Responsibilities and Duties
- Maintain overall clinical responsibility for mental health programs at the facility.
- Oversee mental health screenings and evaluations.
- Conduct sick call and chronic care visits.
- Perform rounds in all units.
- Formulate working diagnoses, develop and implement treatment plans, and modify therapeutic regimens to promote positive patient outcomes.
- Coordinate and lead educational training activities related to mental health care.
Additional Information
- A background in correctional facilities is preferred but not mandatory.
- Required certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
- Must be licensed in Arizona.
- Familiarity with the TechCare EMR system is essential.
