Specialty accepted: Family Practice or Internal Medicine MD
Start date or shifts: ASAP ? Ongoing; Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Daily schedule: Weekends only; flexibility if provider needs occasional weekends off
Practice setting: Inpatient
Types of procedures: Wound care, management of chronic conditions (diabetes, hypertension, STDs), limited OB (referred to OBGYN services); psychiatrists onsite for mental health and addiction support
Number of patients: Average of 10 per day
Ages: Adults 18+
Requirements: NC license, DEA, Board Certified or Board Eligible, minimum 1+ year inpatient experience post-residency, proof of COVID vaccination (exemption accepted), Epic EMR
Additional information: Provider will supervise an experienced APP on weekends; credentialing timeframe is 2 to 4 weeks; client highly responsive to submissions; VA experience translates well; strong history of locums support; all-inclusive travel and lodging
