JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Active Louisiana medical license required
  • BE/BC in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine; If not ABEM certified, ACLS, ATLS, and PALS required
  • Relevant Emergency Medicine experience
  • EMR proficiency (Epic); Orientation, EMR training, and shadow shift required

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department
  • Collaborate with advanced practice providers and multidisciplinary team
  • Accurately document all encounters using Ochsner EPIC
  • Participate in onboarding including orientation, EMR training, and shadowing
  • Ensure care aligns with current emergency medicine standards and protocols
