Emergency Medicine Physician

Coverage Needed:

• ASAP - Ongoing
• Up to 14 shifts per month
• Schedule includes 12-hour shifts from 8am to 8pm, Monday to Friday, and 8-hour shifts from 9am to 5pm on weekends. May transition to 12-hour shifts on weekends.
• Preference for providers who can work blocks of shifts, including weekends and weekdays.

Clinical Details:

• Urgent Care clinic setting, seeing patients aged 6 months and up for urgent care needs.
• Procedures include suturing, wound care, incision and drainage, splinting, X-ray and ECG over-read, and IV placement.
• 30-50 patients per shift
• 5 Beds
• EMR: EPic
• Support Staff: Work with medical assistants, scribes, and rad techs (no RN/LPN support)
• Multiple worksite

Requirements:

• Residency trained and board certified/eligible in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds by ABMS or AOB.
• Active MO License
• Must be trained to see both adults and pediatrics.
• BLS
• Must be comfortable with minor procedures, reading EKGs and X-rays. Onsite X-ray and EKG available.
