JOB OVERVIEW Job Title: Physician OB/GYN Job Type: Locum Tenens (Contract) Location: Clovis, NM Service Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Coverage Period: Starting 07/01/2025 Ongoing Clinical Shift Schedule: Clinic MonThurs, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM; Fri 8:00 AM 12:00 PM On-Call Shift Schedule: 24-hour call, 7:00 AM 7:00 AM Call Type: In-House or Beeper Call Ratio: Looking for 710 days/month PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Women's health and OB/GYN patients Patient Volume/Census: 1824 patients/day; 7090 deliveries/month Admissions: Yes Rounding: Included Phone Consults: Yes Case Mix: General OB/GYN care including deliveries and women's health consults FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic Specialty Backup Available: Women's Health NP and Nurse Midwife, RN Support Staff Available: Women's Health NP, Nurse Midwife, RN Reason for Coverage: Staffing need for OB/GYN services PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Rate: TBD Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance REQUIRED PROCEDURES Deliveries OB/GYN consults and surgical procedures JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Eligibility to obtain New Mexico medical license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP; Board Certified (or active in certification process) in OB/GYN Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred Other Qualifications: Must be OB/GYN residency trained DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide OB/GYN care in both inpatient and clinic settings Perform deliveries and consults Take 24-hour call on assigned days Use Epic for EMR and documentation Collaborate with midwives, NPs, and RN staff to deliver quality care
