ATSS has openings for a CL OUTSIDE MACHINIST 1ST at our client's Pascagoula, MS facility. Basic qualifications: Requires a minimum of 4 or more years of experience as an outside machinist. Job description: Installs, aligns, and repairs ship machinery such as propelling machinery, auxiliary motors, pumps, ventilating equipment, steering gear, laundry and galley equipment, working from blueprints and using hand tools, calipers and micrometers. Lays out passage holes on bulkheads, decks, and other surfaces for connection such as shafting and steam lines. Align reduction gears, bearing, shafting, propellers, and rudder and steering engine assemblies. Location: Pascagoula, MS Duration: Initially 1 year Base pay range: $40.00 per hour, depending on level of experience Per diem $147 a day with utility bill Start date as soon as possible
