JOB SUMMARY:

The Project Management Leader is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering a variety of facility and engineering-related projects. This role ensures that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget while supporting day-to-day operations at assigned Engineering locations. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with strong leadership and communication skills, capable of driving cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan, execute, and complete a variety of projects (e.g., facility upgrades, space planning, equipment installations).

Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.

Coordinate cross-functional teams and external contractors to ensure timely and on-budget project delivery.

Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

Communicate project status to stakeholders and leadership.

Lead remote Day to Day support of facilities for assigned Engineering locations

Collaborate with senior leadership to define and implement engineering strategies aligned with business goals.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives in facility systems, equipment, and processes.

Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability.

Ensure engineering standards and best practices are consistently applied across projects and operations.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EDUCATION:

Minimum of 3+ years of experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment

Bachelors in engineering degree required or 5+ years of related experience

Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others without direct authority

Ability to work effectively within tight deadlines and firm schedules

Strong communication skills (written and oral), including facilitation, presentation, and documentation

Ability to embrace a rapidly changing environment and operate through ambiguous situations

Self-directed with strong personal initiative

Professionalism and strong customer service skills

Team collaboration: Working effectively with cross-functional teams.

Spanish language proficiency is a plus, but not required

Ability to manage contracts and contract relationships

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Very fast-paced, dynamic culture in an office environment.

Possible travel to Manufacturing & Engineering Locations, up to 50%

Must be able to travel internationally.

The starting pay range for Minnesota is $74,000 to $98,000 per year. Individual salaries and positioning within the range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. While individual pay could fall anywhere in the range based on these factors, it is not common to start at the high end or top of the range.

To qualify for this position, former employees must be eligible for rehire, and current employees must be in good standing.
