Cvor Tech 2
The CVOR Tech 2 under the supervision of Director and/or Clinical Coordinator is responsible for preparing supplies and equipment for interventions using appropriate techniques. S/he provides technical services as assigned and directed and assists with procedures. The CVOR Tech 2 assists and/or performs patient procedures that are within the scope of their unit specific skills summation. S/he seeks assistance and support when necessary assists in data collection organizes those aspects of patient care for which s/he is responsible and maintains accountability for own practice and those functions delegated to the Technician. Within a specified work period s/he provides care that is consistent with overall admission to post-discharge plan. S/he practices within accepted ethical and legal parameters.
QualificationsEducation
High School Diploma or GED- Required
Completion of OR Technician program- Required
Certification & Licensures
BLS - Required
Employee will obtain and maintain appropriate clinical competencies for the roles assigned by their departmental leader.
Experience
Recent experience as OR Tech- Required
Previous experience in direct patient care setting as CNA/PCT or SPD- Preferred
