Join a team that offers you the chance to leave your mark, achieve your goals, and love what you do.JOB SUMMARYResponsible for the repair and maintenance of multi-generational company-branded containers, ensuring they meet quality and safety standardsESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPerform assembly-type functions using hand and/or power tools (without supervision)Ensure Quality Standards are metMoving materials using hand cart and/or pallet jackPressure washingAssist with ensuring a safe and clean working environment, inside and out, for assigned facility Maintain PODHUNTER, including accurate inventory and container classificationAble to complete forklift training and safely operate a forkliftPerform light welding tasks (roof discs, door tracks) and simple fabricationWeld plastic (roofs/panels)Perform simple cutting operations with oxy/fuel equipmentAdhere to all safety policies and perform all tasks in a safe manner including adherence to OSHA regulationsMay perform other duties and responsibilities as assignedJOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience RequirementsHigh School diploma or equivalent1-3 years in a related field (assembly, steel fabrication, carpentry, industrial painting, etc)Ability to read and understand English is required for OSHA safety regulationsPossess a current valid driver's license with clean driving recordPossess math skills sufficient to perform required duties; ability to apply these skills to units of American weight measurement, volume and distanceBasic computer skillsAbility to perform light welding and simple cutting operations (oxy/fuel equipment)Ability to operate a forklift OR ability to complete forklift training & certification Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience #App1 Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
