Responsibilities Assemble component parts for products according to established specifications, schedules, and standards of quality. Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners. Test installed parts and accessories for leakage, continuity, and functionality. Fit, trim, align, and adjust parts and components, as well as attach hardware and seals assembly. Solders, lugs, routes, and ties electrical components. Cleans and lubricates parts and assemblies.Qualifications Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets, and schematic drawings. Has strong mechanical aptitude. Physical ability to work in awkward positions for extended periods of time and regularly lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to calibrate unit according to specification.
