G&H is recognized as the preferred source for OEMs in the life sciences, industrial, and aerospace and defense industries, with a history of quality and excellence that dates back over seventy-five years.ROLEAs G&H Tampa takes on a leading role in our U.S. growth strategy, we are seeking a driven and strategically minded Sales Manager to accelerate business development for our coated optics and reticule products within the U.S. Aerospace & Defense market.This is a key commercial role located at our Trinity, FL site, where you will help position G&H as the supplier of choice for critical optical components in mission-critical defense systems.RESPONSIBILITIES & PERFORMANCE MEASURESDrive sales and business development activities for coated optics and reticules into U.S.-based Aerospace and defense OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and Prime contractors.Develop and execute strategic account plans to grow revenue and expand G&H's market share within key programs and platforms.Manage and grow a pipeline of qualified opportunities from initial contact through to contract award.Collaborate closely with the engineering and operations teams at G&H Tampa to ensure alignment on customer requirements, manufacturing capabilities, and lead times.Provide timely market intelligence and customer feedback to support product strategy and operational planning.Represent G&H at industry trade shows, customer meetings, and program reviews.Prepare and deliver compelling customer presentations, bids, and proposals in coordination with the commercial team.Track sales KPIs and report regularly to the Sales Director, Aerospace & defense - US. RequirementsQUALIFICATIONS & SKILLSLocation: Must be based in or willing to relocate to the Tampa/Trinity, FL area.Experience: 3+ years in technical sales, account management, or business development within the Aerospace and/or defense sector.Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of optical components (especially coated optics and reticules) and their applications in defense systemsBusiness Development/Account Growth: The role requires a person who is able to both maximize value and revenue from current accounts, as well as identify and open new customers within the target area.TravelThe role will require the successful candidate to travel >20% of their time within continental USA, visiting customers, prospects and other G&H locations.Notes: This job description is not intended to be exhaustive in every respect, but rather to clearly define the fundamental purpose, responsibilities and dimensions for the role.
