Job Title: Local Contract - Cath Lab Technician - two openings Number of positions: 2Years of experience: One to three years Shift: Night shifts- 40 hours Duration: 13 weeksStart Date: 04/01/2024Hourly pay: $46.96OT: 1.5Weekly Pay: $1,761JOB DESCRIPTIONSummaryDepartment: Cardiac Cath Labs AncShift Timings: Morning 07:00 - 17:30 Hours Monday to Friday (4 Days/10 Hours)Per Week: 40 HoursBLS; Call: based on department needs - currently at one day per week day and one weekend per month, no holidays; Experience: scrubbing cath angio, tech experience; may need to float onsite within skill set or to Mercy and Calumet if needed.Roles & ResponsibilitiesAssess, prepare and position patients for procedures.Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary.Prepare, implement and document plan of care.Communicate patient's condition to physician before, during and after procedures.Perform and/or facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures.Perform set up and provide equipment and supplies before, during and after procedures.QUALIFICATIONSBLS and ACLSNational Institutes of Health (NIH)Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.The ability to stand for extended periods.Strong technical skills.Knowledge of medical terminologyPassionate about patient careRequires a minimum of two years of current Radiology Tech Cath Lab experience.
