Sec Reporting Manager
We are looking for a skilled SEC Reporting Manager to join our team in Fremont, California. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to key financial reporting processes while ensuring compliance with U.S. regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in SEC filings, technical accounting, and collaboration with auditors to support the organization's financial objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage all external financial reports, including Forms 10-K and 10-Q, earnings releases, and other regulatory filings, ensuring compliance with U.S. standards.
- Develop and review financial statements such as cash flow statements, shareholder equity reports, and earnings per share calculations.
- Perform initial reviews of interactive data files for Form 10-Q and 10-K filings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to filing requirements.
- Support stock-based compensation accounting tasks, including journal entry preparation, reconciliations, and disclosure contributions.
- Assist in impairment assessments, lease evaluations, and purchase price allocation analysis for acquired businesses.
- Conduct technical accounting research, document accounting positions, and analyze the impact of new accounting standards.
- Minimum of 5 years of combined experience in public accounting or corporate accounting, with exposure to SEC reporting.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required; CPA designation preferred or actively pursuing.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting regulations; familiarity with ASC 718 is a plus.
- Experience with ERP systems and tagging tools such as Active Disclosure or Workiva.
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks while maintaining high-quality work.
