Ellsworth School Department • Full Time K–12 After-School & Summer Programming Are you passionate about student enrichment, community partnerships, and high-impact programming beyond the school day? The Ellsworth School Department is seeking a motivated and skilled Program Director to lead our federally funded 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) program. This is a unique opportunity to shape dynamic academic and enrichment opportunities for students in grades K–12 across Ellsworth Elementary Middle School and Ellsworth High School —after school and throughout the summer. This is a full time position. What You’ll Do: Design & Lead High-Quality Programs Collaborate withadministrators,educators and students to build engaging academic and enrichment offerings. Oversee daily operations of after-school and summer programs. Coordinate schedules, staffing, and logistics across K–12. Support & Supervise Staff Recruit, onboard, and support a diverse team of instructors and staff. Foster a positive, inclusive, and professional program culture. Track Progress & Report Impact Monitor attendance and program participation. Evaluate effectiveness and prepare reports required by the grant. Manage Budget & Ensure Compliance Oversee program budget and ensure alignment with federal grant guidelines. Maintain thorough documentation and records. Engage with Community & Partners Build strong relationships with families, local organizations, and stakeholders. Represent the program at state and regional events and trainings. Lead for the Future Develop strategies to promote, sustain, and grow the program. Pursue future funding opportunities and partnerships. Applicants must hold a validMaine teachingcertificate, and a bachelor’s degreeisrequired.
