JOB TITLE: QC Inspector
JOB SUMMARY
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for overseeing all quality control operations within their area. The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring that safety, quality, delivery, and production efficiencies meet the standards and expectations of internal and external customers.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS 2+ years of QC experience Forklift certification Must be able to lift 50lbs
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS 2+ years of powder coat and wet paint experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Extremely detail oriented Effectively communicate with leads and coworkers Problem solving skills Must be dependable and punctual
CORE DUTIES Responsible for developing and overseeing all quality control functions needed for powder coat and cerakote Develop and maintain inspection reports Inspect all powder coat and cerakote parts before deliveries Ensure all steps of the process are completed correctly Inform management/leads of all quality issues that may arise such as bad surface prep, overcuring, etc. Ensure any failed parts are recoated in a timely manner for scheduling purposes Work together with managers and leads on solutions to correct fail points Touch up, sand, and buff items that require corrective action Package completed parts after inspection for delivery Assist in cutting cerakote stencils Blast parts down for recoat Maintains cleanliness of working areas Adhere to all company policies, safety rules, and regulation including PPE use and must follow lockout, tag-out (LOTO) procedures Other duties as assigned
HOURS 1st shift position Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Friday- overtime as needed
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Candidates that accept an offer of employment will be required to pass a background and drug screen. Candidates must also meet ATF requirements for firearm possession.
