Principal Architect, Supply Chain Technology
The mission of the Supply Chain Solution Delivery Department is to design, build, deliver, and operate robust, efficient, and scalable Supply Chain technology solutions that align with our strategic business and technology goals. Aritzia is growing, and our Supply Chain Solution Delivery team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team responsible for designing, implementing, supporting, and continuously improving supply chain technology solutions. As the Principal Architect, Supply Chain Technology, you will spearhead the design and orchestration of technology across our rapidly evolving Supply Chain ecosystem. This is a pivotal role that combines deep technical architecture experience with practical domain knowledge to catapult Aritzia into the next phase of our Supply Chain technology roadmap
beyond table stakes into transformational change. You will collaborate closely with the Head of Global Architecture, senior Supply Chain Technology leadership, and other Technology teams to architect the data and systems flow across distribution, inventory, omnichannel, and product. You will lead supply chain initiatives from a solution architecture perspective, shape our technical direction, and ensure what's designed gets built right

As the Principal Architect, Supply Chain Technology, you will: Serve as a strategic thought partner to the Chief Supply Chain Officer and senior leaders, influencing decisions that drive operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and long-term value creation. Lead the design of end-to-end architecture across all supply chain functions
from factory to fulfillment center to final mile
ensuring agility, scalability, and resilience. Partner with the Head of Global Architecture to align roadmaps and ensure integration with the broader enterprise architecture and transformation vision. Collaborate cross-functionally with the Enterprise Integration team, Engineering leaders, and system owners to deliver robust, scalable, and secure solutions. Spearhead high-impact initiatives including distribution center design and launches, WMS/WCS implementations, and logistics innovation, driving automation and operational efficiencies. Combine strategic vision with hands-on leadership, engaging directly in design, sequencing, and critical decisions to ensure successful outcomes. Act as a technology mentor and enterprise influencer, guiding technical teams and ensuring that architectural decisions drive measurable business impact. The Qualifications
The Principal Architect, Supply Chain Technology, has: Proven and best-in-class skills, applicable certifications, education and/or experience. A track record of excellence with 15+ years of experience in technology architecture and delivery, with a deep specialization in global retail supply chain operations. Demonstrated leadership in launching or modernizing multi-node distribution networks across North America, EMEA, or APAC. A proven ability to lead large-scale transformation programs, from blueprint to delivery. The ability to communicate and influence at the C-level, bridging business goals and technical execution. Extensive systems expertise, including: 15+ years of experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) (e.g., Blue Yonder, Manhattan, or similar) 15+ years of Warehouse control systems (WCS) and material handling automation Parcel and freight management systems Purchase order collaboration platforms (e.g., Infor Nexus) Inventory visibility and global trade platforms Factory, freight forwarder, and port visibility tools Labor management systems and workforce optimization Strong foundational understanding of IT infrastructure, integrations, and data management Experience in high-growth, fast-paced retail environments where flexibility and speed are key A passion for innovation and continuous improvement across systems, people, and process A commitment to learn, apply, champion and enrich Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principles The skills to collaborate strategically with cross-functional partners in the pursuit of shared business outcomes The ability to set clear objectives and design a strategy that inspires the team A dedication to quality and investing in results and new business opportunities that add value The Compensation
The typical hiring range for this position is $200,000 $300,000 per year. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Additionally, this position may be eligible for bonus.
