Business Development And Account Manager

This is an internal, direct hire position reporting to the owner/strategic-partner or branch manager. Summary of Responsibilities The business development manager is responsible for generating sales to contribute to the branch's overall revenue, gross profit, and net profit. This includes generating temporary service sales by developing new client relationships and meeting quarterly and yearly sales, gross margin, and profit targets. The role also involves fostering relationships with new clients and maintaining relationships at the critical decision-maker level with high-potential accounts. The individual must be able to supervise and maintain positive relationships with clients, both externally and internally. Essential Functions Develop new client sales, aiming for 4 net new clients per month. Develop leads for temporary usage, with a funnel of 200 users. Qualify leads and identify potential targets, making 65-100 outside sales calls per week. Develop sales plans for each marketing opportunity, with standard plans set up and customized for each visit. Develop relationships with all levels of buyers at target companies, ensuring 1 and 2 clients have multiple relationships and are at critical buying levels. Conduct 10 appointment visits per week, ensuring visits lead to the next step in the marketing process. Conduct various visit types, including client profile, action plan development, coach development, quality assessment, continuous improvement, assignment development, project management, service team introduction, tour of facilities, performance review, and planning, with critical targets experiencing all. As part of the temp team, assist in filling jobs and interviewing when needed, such as when staff are on vacation. Develop business contacts through active participation in business-oriented or community programs, serving on a committee or direct participation for 5-10 hours per month. Experience selling to all levels of staff at corporate clients. Must be able to communicate English fluently in writing and verbally. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret procedures outlined in company policies. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively respond to questions or complaints from managers, clients, employees, and the general public. Basic math skills, including: addition, subtraction, division, and percentages. Ability to make independent decisions and exercise sound judgment and discretion according to company policies and to ensure profitability. Ability to work effectively and independently with all levels within the organization. Ability to work well under pressure and strong organizational ability. This is a desk job with no manual labor required. Limited physical demands incidental to an office environment will be incurred. Ability to perform frequent/constant sedentary work for up to 10 hours. Walking occasionally 03 hours. Ability to operate a computer. Ability to occasionally lift 015 pounds. Ability to occasionally squat at the knees and bend at the waist for miscellaneous office tasks, such as filing. Education Requirements A high school diploma or GED A bachelor's degree is preferred, but can be substituted for similar experience.
