About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Engineer IV
to join our dynamic team in
Orlando, FL . In this critical role, you will lead major capital projects, drive manufacturing improvements, and support plant maintenance excellence across multiple facilities. If you have a passion for
injection molding, profile extrusion , and process optimization, this is your opportunity to make a direct impact on production and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities: Lead large- and small-scale engineering projects independently. Serve as the project manager for capital improvement initiatives, overseeing budgets, timelines, technical performance, and vendor relations. Support the implementation of maintenance excellence programs at all plant locations. Maintain a deep understanding of the company's manufacturing processes, equipment, and products. Evaluate and recommend new technologies, equipment upgrades, and system improvements. Collaborate with plant leadership to assess maintenance team skill gaps and assist in technician evaluations and hiring processes. Ensure capital project spending stays within approved limits. Travel as needed to support project or plant needs (may include weekends or extended hours).
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
(Mechanical or Plastics preferred). 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering , with a strong background in
plastics processing , especially
injection molding
and
profile extrusion . Proven hands-on experience with
injection mold setup, processing, and troubleshooting . Solid understanding of
hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, electrical, and automation systems . Proficient in
Microsoft Office Suite ,
CAD software , and
project management tools . Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Previous
project management
experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
