About Us: Pilot Door Systems is a leading manufacturer specializing in roll-up doors and hallway infrastructure for the self-storage industry. For over 20 years, we have proudly partnered with more than four hundred companies across North America, delivering high-quality products and unparalleled customer service. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a driven and strategic Business Development Executive to join our team. This role is integral to building and expanding relationships with general contractors, developers, and self-storage companies looking to develop, enhance, or expand their projects.
Business Development Responsibilities: Identify and cultivate relationships with prospective clients and partners. Develop and execute strategies to drive business growth and market penetration. Conduct thorough market research to uncover new opportunities and industry trends. Create and deliver impactful presentations and proposals to clients. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful project completion. Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients. Analyze sales performance metrics and refine strategies to achieve goals.
Work hours are not structured due to nature of sales and may require some weekend work due to travel, conferences, and events. 40 hour a week with paid overtime, plus benefits (medical, 401K, holidays, bonus). Base salary with commission per close on sale. Professional certificate training and sale qualifications are included at no cost.

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field. Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in outside sales. Knowledge of the self-storage and/or commercial construction industry. Proven history in business development, sales, or a related role. Ability to travel 4-5 days per month Exceptional communication, negotiation, and people skills. Ability to analyze market trends and design strategic plans. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently. Proficiency with CRM (Salesforce) software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel & PowerPoint). Ability to read, interpret, and provide recommendations based on blueprints is a plus
