We are looking for a Territory Manager to work closely with peers and report to the Area Sales Director, Fire Suppression Standard Products. The Territory Manager will develop relationships and have credibility throughout the entire customer base, which includes contractor customers and supply chain partners. The incumbent will oversee customer relationships in terms of sales growth, profitability, customer service, issue resolution, new product introduction, and industry involvement. This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship. Responsibilities include achieving yearly revenue targets & goals, effectively calling on the local contractor community within the designated territory, becoming an active participant in industry associations, developing account plans for key and target customers, monitoring and managing price strategy, reporting business forecasts, ensuring new products are introduced effectively, coordinating training at all levels for the customer base, and entering all sales activities and managing territory pipeline within Salesforce.com. Required experience includes 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the construction, fire protection, or related industry. Must have high energy, self-starter with the ability to represent our company with the utmost professionalism, political savvy across the customer organization and company, effective, strong communication with West Regional Sales Manager & internal and external business partners, strong business acumen & ability to adapt to customer needs, strong negotiating skills, strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills, strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written including proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, and 75% travel within assigned territory. Preferred experience includes familiarity with Power BI and fire suppression background.
