ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Oversee the daily operations of the accounting and finance department Manage all aspects of financial reporting, including month-end and year-end close, consolidated financial statements, budgeting, GET filings, and external audits Ensure full compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal control policies Drive continuous improvement in accounting systems, policies, and procedures Lead, mentor, and supervise accounting staff, including assigning projects and ensuring timely, accurate completion Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic business decisions Partner with the CFO on forecasting, risk management, and long-term financial planning Perform other related duties as needed EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 5 years managing a team of 5 or more staff Credentials: CPA and prior Controller or Assistant Controller experience strongly preferred Industry Background: Experience in retail and/or manufacturing a plus Systems: Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Microsoft Business Central is a plus REQUIREMENTS: • Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities • Proven ability to manage large datasets and deliver actionable insights • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Maui Divers Jewelry is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer who celebrates diversity
