Position Overview: Parsons is seeking a talented Subject Matter Expert Coordination Lead to join our team. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our technical experts across domains are aligned, integrated, and contributing effectively to the program’s goals.

Preference is for candidates located in the National Capital Region (NCR). Parsons will consider remote/hybrid employees with approximately 75% travel to the NCR.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Provide recommendations on contractor labor utilization, workflow, and operational procedures to increase efficiency and productivity.

Represent SME contributions in stakeholder and technical lead meetings.

Review SME outputs for technical consistency, compliance, and alignment with program architecture.

Coordinate decision-making among all program personnel.

Oversee contract personnel actions and provide guidance as needed.

Manage project budgets and materials acquisition related to research.

Define SME roles, deliverables, and timelines in coordination with the project schedule.

Maintain cross-program situational awareness and ensure integration of engineering inputs.

Facilitate collaboration to align technical inputs with system-level requirements.

Act as the central contact between SMEs and leadership.

Lead SME coordination and tasking across functional areas.

Identify dependencies and help resolve technical conflicts.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field (or relevant experience).

20+ years of experience.

Deep familiarity with FAA ATC or similar advanced electronic systems.

Experience in systems design, operation, and integration of Air Traffic Control systems and technologies.

Skills in integrating new technologies into operational environments with minimal disruption.

Experience in requirements development, design, and delivery across multiple companies.

Knowledge in risk mitigation for new system development and integration.

Preferred Skills:

Master’s degree.

Knowledge of FAA or other ANSPs’ mission-critical Air Traffic Control systems.

Security Clearance: None required.
