Job Description
Liferay Developer Technologies: Must have recent experience with Liferay 6.1 (6.0 is acceptable): 2+ years Additional experience with earlier versions of Liferay or another portal platform: 3+ years Java/J2EE: 7+ years Spring/Spring MVC/Spring Remoting: 5+ years HTML/CSS/JavaScript: 7+ years XML: 7+ years Web Services (SOAP and REST): 3+ years Velocity: 1+ year jQuery: 1+ year SQL: 5+ years (Oracle experience is a big plus) Hibernate/MyBatis/iBatis: 5+ years Linux: 1+ year (Red Hat preferred) Experience with SiteMinder is a plus Tools: Eclipse/MyEclipse Liferay IDE plugin for Eclipse Spring IDE plugin for Eclipse Must have ANT (Maven is a plus) JUnit and Spring Mock Subversion (SVN) WinSCP/Putty or similar tools Skills: Good understanding of object-oriented programming Good understanding of data structures Good understanding of concurrency Good understanding of software engineering practices including version control, change management, unit testing, and documentation Ability to communicate clearly Ability to follow technical design Ability to work with minimal supervision
