The Communications Supervisor will oversee operations at the Portland Communications Center, which provides 9-1-1 response and related services in Washington state. The role involves providing leadership, supervision, and guidance to the team, ensuring high-quality customer service, and maintaining performance standards. Responsibilities include managing team performance, coaching, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. Key responsibilities: Ensure team compliance with performance standards and handle escalated calls. Manage team attendance and performance metrics. Supervise daily operations, participate in hiring, and quality assurance. Build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Lead, motivate, and develop team members. Qualifications include 1-2 years supervisory experience in a customer service or call center environment, strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, and proficiency with relevant software. A degree in healthcare or business administration is preferred, along with certifications such as NAEMD EMD and ED-Q.
