Brown Goldstein & Levy LLP, a 23-lawyer litigation firm, seeks to hire an experienced litigator to work in its Baltimore office to help lead a team of attorneys, paralegals, and other legal staff in pursuing cases brought on behalf of survivors of child sexual abuse under the Maryland Child Victims Act. While this attorney may work in the firm’s other practice areas as well, the majority of the attorney’s time will be spent leading the child sexual abuse survivor team. The ideal candidate is a person who has practiced law for at least eight years, with robust litigation experience, an excellent work ethic, superb legal and organizational skills, and the proven ability to supervise and manage a large team. Successful candidates must also have strong analytical, writing, research, and interpersonal skills. The candidate must be admitted to the Maryland Bar. We are trial lawyers who handle cases of every stripe, civil or criminal. A significant portion of the firm’s practice is devoted to representing plaintiffs in civil rights cases, in areas such as disability rights, housing discrimination, and police misconduct. We take on large, complex personal injury matters and commercial disputes involving large and small businesses alike. We currently represent a number of child sexual abuse survivors in cases brought against a variety of public and private entities. Salary Range and Benefits The salary range for this position is $134,000–$155,000.
