General Surgery, Orthopedics, Urology, Colorectal, Mild Vascular, and expanding Thoracic and Spine programs Robotics:
Strong existing program with the Da Vinci XI, adding a second robot this year The Assistant Nurse Manager Role: The Assistant Nurse Manager is a critical clinical leader and operational liaison within the OR, responsible for supporting the surgical team, facilitating communication, and ensuring smooth daily operations. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who is organized, emotionally intelligent, task-oriented, and ready to be a manager’s right-hand. Key Responsibilities: Lead daily OR operations and manage surgical board assignments Coordinate with anesthesia, PACU, sterile processing, and other departments Participate in performance evaluations and staff development Support with staff mentoring and serve as a key contact for issue escalation Communicate expectations and ensure staff are aligned on roles and responsibilities Drive culture through presence, collaboration, and support 80% administrative and 20% circulating Schedule Options: 3x12s or 4x10s Ideal Candidate Profile: 2+ years of OR circulating RN experience Previous experience in a charge, relief charge, or preceptor role preferred Strong communicator with the ability to collaborate across departments Comfortable leading a youthful and growing team (many with 2–3 years of experience) Emotionally intelligent and calm under pressure Desire to grow into formal leadership or management roles Driven, confident, and passionate about patient care and surgical services Leadership & Culture: Team includes: Clinical Manager, Lead Surg Techs, Clinical Resource Coordinator, PCTs, and highly experienced Surg Techs RNs are long-term and embedded into the culture Refreshing environment with a high-functioning, friendly team Leaders are committed to succession planning and career advancement Why Join Us?
