The primary responsibility of the
Client Relationship Leader
is to drive successful outcomes and ROI for our large enterprise customers, focusing on the delivery of US Retirement and Benefits outsourcing solutions. This role is crucial in fostering a customer-focused culture and driving client retention and growth. The leader will help clients unlock the value of TELUS Health’s services and will be responsible for expanding their portfolio by achieving sales targets set by leadership. As a key business leader and part of our Customer Journey, you will define the vision and strategy for client development, and oversee processes for customer satisfaction, relationship health, and sustainable growth. What you'll do:
Build and nurture strong client relationships, understanding their needs, challenges, and operational maturity. Lead post-sales orchestration of resources to fulfill contractual obligations. Manage the execution of Service Agreements and coordinate with Operations leadership to meet service levels. Sponsor and monitor project management activities, ensuring alignment and successful delivery. Drive initiatives to deliver ROI and profitability. Maintain reference-ready relationship health metrics, such as Net Promoter Score. Manage a growth quota, upselling and cross-selling products and services. Identify risks and develop mitigation plans. Develop and implement client retention and contract renewal strategies. Oversee service delivery, addressing issues proactively. Provide insights on industry trends and best practices for solutions deployment. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align on Customer Success strategies. Champion organizational initiatives and model TELUS Health’s core values. Participate in other critical projects as needed. What you bring:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a relevant field or equivalent operational experience. 7-10 years of strategic client management experience. 5-7+ years in benefits program delivery, including operations, implementation, and client management (preferably with Defined Benefits and H&W administration experience). Strong judgment, problem-solving, analytical, and research skills. Flexibility and adaptability across multiple responsibilities. Proven leadership and project management skills. Knowledge of regulatory standards related to Benefits, Pension, and Retirement Plans. Familiarity with contract management and negotiations is an asset. Availability to travel within the US. Experience in business development, including participating in RFPs, expanding existing accounts, and direct sales. Ability to build and nurture relationships at all organizational levels, including the C-suite. Excellent presentation skills for client events and industry conferences. Continuous refinement of business development strategies aligned with broader goals. Regular participation in Quarterly Business Reviews with clients. A bit about us
