Jobs via Dice . This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following location(s): NC and SC. Overview As Software Engineer II, you will work with Product Managers, Analysts, Testers, and cross-functional global teams in a fast-paced environment. You will design and develop scalable, efficient software tools supporting client-facing Commercial Client Lifecycle Management and Onboarding systems. You will collaborate across organizations to define and implement solutions for existing and new client onboarding applications, providing ongoing support. Responsibilities Design and develop technical solutions that meet user needs regarding functionality, performance, scalability, and reliability. Provide module-level leadership (Architecture, Design, Development) for medium to large projects and maintenance of client-facing API banking systems. Contribute to and enforce department best practices, guidelines, and standards. Build and maintain large software platforms. Enhance developer experience with attention to detail. Write elegant, maintainable, well-documented, and secure code. Abstract, refactor, and test solutions proactively. Drive continuous learning and team support. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree + 2 years of application software programming experience OR High School Diploma/GED + 6 years of experience. Preferred Qualifications Lead experience for small to medium projects. Understanding and influencing architecture and design. Expertise in Microservices, SOA, Spring Boot, Web services (SOAP, REST), CI/CD, React, NodeJS, Java, J2EE, JMS, JDBC, Kafka, security protocols (SAML2.0, OAuth2.0), RDBMS (Oracle, MS SQL). Experience with software design patterns, SSO, security, and regulated financial environments. Familiarity with TDD and Agile methodologies is a plus. The salary range is generally $96,000 to $130,000, with actual starting pay based on skills, experience, and location. Benefits are included as part of total rewards.
