They are seeking a Software Development Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications that enhance engineering productivity and operational intelligence. Responsibilities: Develop, test, and deploy high-quality software applications and services supporting efficient development, deployment, and operation of engineering teams' applications. Contribute to automating software delivery pipelines (CI/CD) by writing robust code for tools and integrations that streamline build, test, and deployment processes. Design and implement data processing pipelines and visualization components for "engineering insights," transforming raw data into actionable intelligence. Build and maintain developer-facing tools and APIs to enhance developer experience, promoting self-service capabilities. Collaborate with application development teams to understand their needs, gather requirements, and seamlessly integrate solutions. Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code, participate in code reviews, and adhere to best practices. Assist in troubleshooting and debugging complex software issues, applying analytical skills to identify root causes and implement solutions. Qualifications: Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Basic understanding of software development methodologies, data structures, and algorithms. Experience with Git or other version control systems. Proven problem-solving skills. Preferred: Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience with data processing, databases (SQL/NoSQL), or data visualization tools. Personal projects, open source contributions, or internships demonstrating software skills. Knowledge of software testing practices.
