Position Summary :
The Human Resources (HR) Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day human resources operations and providing strategic and operational support to both the HR team and business units. This role manages key HR functions including employee relations, compliance, performance management, and staff development. The HR Manager ensures that all HR policies, procedures, and programs are administered in accordance with federal and state regulations, while fostering a positive and compliant workplace culture.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead and manage HR staff, providing guidance, performance feedback, and support for professional development.
Review and process employee HR submissions, ensuring proper approvals are obtained and procedures followed.
Advise managers on HR policies, employee relations, coaching, corrective actions, and performance management strategies.
Handle complex employee relations matters, including conducting thorough and objective investigations with proper documentation.
Ensure full compliance with federal and state employment regulations, including FMLA, ADA, ADEA, Title VII, EEOC, and related laws.
Oversee unemployment claim responses, ensuring accurate and timely submissions to state agencies.
Support leave of absence administration, benefits inquiries, and Employee Assistance Program referrals.
Conduct monthly and quarterly meetings with business units to align HR strategies with operational needs.
Maintain accurate records of employee complaints and concerns, including timely entries into the HR complaint log.
Escalates high-risk or sensitive issues to the HR Director and remains up to date on HR trends, legal updates, and best practices.
Maintain confidentiality when accessing personal information of employees, including, but not limited to, Social Security numbers and dates of birth.
Perform other ad-hoc tasks and duties as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities
Perform the above-referenced essential duties and responsibilities as well as assist in directing the work of employees assigned to the department by leading and overseeing their day-to-day activities and work schedules and by providing work-related guidance to the Human Resources team in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures.

Ability managing conflict, fostering a positive workplace culture, addressing grievances. Commitment, Innovation and Results Driven. Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills. Proficiency in HR tools and Microsoft Windows. Work Schedule:
Hybrid – in office two days per week. Travel 0-10%
