Job Title:
Senior Data Engineer Experience Required:
Minimum 8 years Overview: We are seeking a seasoned Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and architectures. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data engineering and a proven track record of working with modern data solutions. Experience with Microsoft Fabric is essential, as it will play a key role in our data strategy and operations. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines. Implement robust ETL processes to integrate data from diverse sources. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect data solutions that align with business objectives. Leverage Microsoft Fabric to build integrated data platforms and ensure seamless data flow. Data Modeling & Warehousing: Develop data models and design data storage solutions. Optimize data warehousing solutions to support analytics and reporting. Performance & Quality: Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data systems for performance, reliability, and quality. Implement data governance and security best practices. Evaluate emerging technologies and tools to enhance the data engineering ecosystem. Mentor junior team members and promote best practices across the team. Required Qualifications: Professional Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or a related field. Must have SME (Subject Matter Expert) Knowledgebase of Microsoft Fabric Ecosystem Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and database design. Expertise in ETL tools, data integration, and pipeline orchestration. Expertise with Data Governance Tools, Microsoft Perview Hands-on experience with Power BI semantic modeling and Direct Lake architecture. Programming skills in languages such as Python/Spark. Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and it’s data services. Experience with modern data warehousing and big data technologies. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and manage multiple priorities. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications in data engineering or cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate). Proven track record in leading data initiatives and mentoring teams.
