$65.00/hr - $70.00/hr Direct message the job poster from FUSTIS LLC Job Title: Senior Java Developer with GCP Job Location: Hybrid in Parsippany, NJ Duration: 12-month contract (C2H) Acceptable Visa Type: USC/GC/GC-EAD/H4-EAD/Only Pay Rate: $65-$70/hr. on 1099 Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including BigQuery and Pub/Sub, along with expertise in building microservices and integrating Kafka for real-time data streaming and event-driven architectures. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in developing scalable backend solutions and cloud-native applications. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based microservices deployed on GCP. Implement real-time and batch data processing using Kafka, BigQuery, and Pub/Sub. Collaborate with DevOps and cloud architects to ensure robust CI/CD pipelines and GCP resource configurations. Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with internal/external systems. Optimize cloud services usage for performance, cost, and scalability. Write unit and integration tests to ensure high code quality. Monitor and troubleshoot production issues and provide support as needed. Required Skills: Proven experience with GCP services: BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage. Proficiency in building and deploying Microservices architectures. Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka – producers, consumers, and stream processing. RESTful API development and integration. Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Cloud Build. Good understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes is a plus). Familiarity with SQL and performance tuning in BigQuery. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, or similar frameworks. Exposure to monitoring/logging tools (Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana). Agile/Scrum methodology experience. Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Seniority level
