Systems Integration & Test (I&T) Engineer - SDA Program Scottsdale, AZ Contract Position Pay Estimated: $69.21-$74.21/Hour This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors, (geographical location, etc.) Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. Responsibilities: Lead
Systems Integration and Test (I&T)
efforts across multiple engineering teams and domains.
Develop
test plans, procedures, and reports
to validate system and subsystem requirements.
Manage and maintain
Requirements Verification Traceability Matrix (RVTM)
to track requirements against test activities.
Conduct and lead
formal witnessed test events , producing compliant documentation and test reports.
Support
enterprise-level end-to-end testing
to verify SDA system functionality prior to operational deployment.
Collaborate with Systems Engineering and I&T leadership to define and refine test strategy, scope, and deliverables.
Perform or support key
systems engineering functions : requirements analysis, interface definition, performance trade studies, and design validation.
Apply company and industry
engineering standards, tools, and processes
throughout the systems development life cycle.
Conduct
technical evaluations
of vendor products, COTS solutions, GFE/CFE, specifications, and documentation for integration feasibility.
Frequently engage with
senior internal engineering teams and external customers
to coordinate testing efforts and resolve issues.
Provide
technical leadership and mentorship
to junior team members.
Participate in
GEP site integration and test activities , with travel as required.
Qualifications: U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law Bachelor’s degree
in
Systems Engineering , or a related
Science, Engineering, or Mathematics
discipline
5+ years
of job-related experience (or
Master’s degree + 3 years
experience)
Proven experience in
systems integration, verification, and validation (IV&V)
Strong background in developing: Test Plans
Test Procedures
Test Reports
Requirements Traceability Matrices (RVTM)
Ability to
independently plan and execute test strategies
Excellent documentation and
technical communication skills
Ability to engage with
customers and cross-functional teams
Agile development
experience preferred
Must be a
U.S. Citizen ; active security clearance may be required or preferred depending on contract
