Job Description Position Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Coordinator with expertise in sponsored programs or project management to support the Sheriffs Office. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for all aspects of assigned specialized programs or projects. Primary tasks include planning, developing, coordinating, budget/fiscal management, implementation, and evaluation of program effectiveness in support of the department's mission. Skills Required Project governance Integration management Scope management Time management Cost management Quality management Resource management Communications management Risk management Collecting and analyzing complex data Documenting information clearly and factually Applying logic to evaluate conflicting information Assessing documents for accuracy and legal compliance Defining project scope Identifying deliverables Managing risks Documenting project processes using various project management tools Effective verbal and written communication tailored to the audience Professional interaction with all levels of employees, the public, and other agencies Planning, organizing, coordinating, and administering activities of a specialized program Managing user access in associated applications for projects Scheduling governance meetings, including agenda preparation, PowerPoint presentations, and meeting notes Compiling and analyzing information Coordinating meeting logistics, attending/participating in meetings, taking minutes, and distributing follow-up items Composing technical written correspondence Developing training and informational materials as appropriate Overseeing onboarding and offboarding of project team members Analyzing data and preparing program activity reports and statistics for management review Coordinating collection of SSRS and reporting data Organizing and transferring meeting recordings, transcripts, and notes Supporting the Governance Team and Department Leadership in analyzing requirements, setting goals, and ensuring program success Using independent judgment and discretion in performing duties Collaborating with other departments and outside agencies Managing vendor onboarding processes Training and supervising less experienced staff as needed Performing other duties as assigned Skills Preferred Leadership or supervision experience Bilingual in English/Spanish Experience Required At least three years of professional experience in sponsored programs or project management, preferably in a government setting focused on public safety. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Intermediate proficiency in VISIO and SharePoint. Education Required Associate's degree in a field related to Project Management, Program Management, or Organizational Management. Equivalent professional certification, post-secondary education, or job-related experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis. Additional Information Must possess a valid Arizona driver's license or be able to obtain one by the time of hire. This role will be primarily onsite with some remote work flexibility. #J-18808-Ljbffr
