Cyber Investigation Analyst - OTA

for its Department of State (DOS) Diplomatic Security Cyber Mission (DSCM) program, providing leading cyber and technology security experience to enable innovative, effective, and secure business processes. Location: Arlington, VA. On-site, full-time required. The DSCM program includes technical, engineering, data analytics, cyber security, management, operational, logistical, and administrative support to assist DOS Cyber & Technology Security (CTS) Directorate. This involves protecting a global cyber infrastructure and responding to cyber risks and threats. The team aims to leverage expertise and propose creative cybersecurity solutions. In this role, you will: Support the Operational Threats & Analysis (OTA) Team. Audit for counterintelligence, insider threat, and criminal activities related to Diplomatic Security network activities. Recommend strategies for assessing inappropriate network use; research and recommend monitoring tools. Support DS criminal investigators. Perform log analysis to identify trends, patterns, and suspicious activity. Coordinate with other U.S. Government, Intelligence, and Law Enforcement agencies on insider threat auditing. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree and at least 9 years of relevant experience, or 13 years of experience without degree. Possess one of the following certifications: CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CEH, CFR, CHFI, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), Cloud+, CND, CySA+, GCED, GCIH, GICSP, SSCP. Experience in threat analysis. Experience with User Activity Monitoring (UAM) tools. Experience working with security or law enforcement investigative personnel. Experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC), analyzing network traffic. U.S. citizenship required. Active Top Secret security clearance, with the ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance. Preferred: Experience with digital evidence acquisition, user activity monitoring, and technical analysis. Salary Range:

$104,000 - $166,000 annually, based on experience and other factors. Additional Information:
