AWS SysOps-, DevOps Engineer

Description We are seeking an AWS Developer Operations Engineer to join our team! You will design and develop solutions to complex application problems and deployment solutions. Looking to evolve a "Coder" to a DevOps Master. Responsibilities : Work with customers' development teams to host applications on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud platforms. Interpret and implement architectural renderings for deployment. Implement modern containerized applications on ECS, Azure Container Services, Kubernetes. Provide quality assurance review of new and existing software products. Qualifications : Experience with Terraform, Chef, Puppet, and CloudFormation. Minimum AWS SysOps Associate certification attained, AWS DevOps Professional preferred. Several years of tech experience with at least some years of public cloud experience implementing solutions with AWS. Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration. Experience setting up DevOps using AWS components. Hands-on experience with AWS Infrastructure services. Knowledge and experience with AWS components such as EC2, ELB, EMR, S3, CLI, and API scripting (Bash/Shell, Python, JavaScript). Experience with container orchestration utilizing ECS, EKS, Kubernetes. Experience writing scripts in YAML and/or JSON. Experience with IaC and automated builds using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins. Experience automating cloud infrastructure with CloudFormation or Terraform. Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills. Ability to prioritize and multitask. The position is contract-to-hire, with opportunities to grow into roles such as DevOps Lead, Delivery Manager, or Director.
