Are you an experienced Employment Law Attorney with a focus on school district defense? A top California law firm is growing and seeking a Partner-level attorney to join their expanding Employment Law Department.
What You’ll Do
Defend school districts in employment-related litigation (wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation). Advise school boards and HR leaders on Title IX, ADA, FMLA, and union/tenure matters. Oversee discovery, motion practice, and settlement negotiations. Draft policies and contracts to ensure compliance with education and employment law. Provide training to school administrators and HR teams.
What We’re Looking For
8+ years of employment litigation experience (school district defense required). Jury trial/civil trial experience preferred. California Bar admission in good standing. Strong research, negotiation, and communication skills.
