Database Administrator (Singaporean Only – CAT 1)

We are seeking a Database Administrator to join our IT operations team in Singapore. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience managing Oracle or MS SQL databases, coupled with strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities. You will be responsible for maintaining the health, performance, and security of our critical database systems. Key Responsibilities: Administer and maintain Oracle or MS SQL databases across production, staging, and development environments Ensure database availability, performance, integrity, and security Perform database backups, recovery, tuning, and patching Develop and maintain PL/SQL scripts and Linux shell/PowerShell scripts for automation and operational efficiency Monitor database systems and proactively address issues and bottlenecks Work closely with application and infrastructure teams for deployments and incident resolution Maintain documentation related to database configurations, policies, and procedures Comply with internal security standards and support security audits Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in administering Oracle and/or MS SQL databases Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux platforms (RedHat, Oracle Linux) Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, Linux shell scripting, and/or PowerShell To apply, simply click the
